Dumb question I know to some but I missed it so don't yell at me, but why is he called "Tilt?"Hold onto your hats. Here comes Tilt.

Did you see his hit? He crushed one off the Monster. Looked Boggs-ian.I am only seeing my extremely high expectations. He just looks off today. So, very recently.
Fair enough.I am only seeing my extremely high expectations. He just looks off today. So, very recently.
It refers to the way he angles his neck/head.Dumb question I know to some but I missed it so don't yell at me, but why is he called "Tilt?"
He tilts his head when he pitches.Dumb question I know to some but I missed it so don't yell at me, but why is he called "Tilt?"
You know, he is doing it less right now, but believe, me, he has done it for years. It refers to the way he angles his neck/head.
He should see a chiropractor about thatIt refers to the way he angles his neck/head
I'm more interested in seeing how fans react once there are automated strike zones, and pitches are called strikes on the edges and cornersHow would the umpires take it if there is a pitch chairmen allowed? I would think they would feel like the team presenting the challenge is showing them up and we all know how most umps deal with that.
I was fine with pitching around Ramirez there. This is kind of a huge PA.
Because he tilts his head to the left when he’s in the set position.Dumb question I know to some but I missed it so don't yell at me, but why is he called "Tilt?"
The ump was. He gave up one hit after a walk in which he threw strike three near the middle of the plate but was called a ball. Then he walked their best hitter rather than give him anything to hit.And Tilt just is awful.
I wouldn’t call this “fine.”The ump was. He gave up one hit after a walk in which he threw strike three near the middle of the plate but was called a ball. Then he walked their best hitter rather than give him anything to hit.
In other words, Tilt was fine.
He made two non-competitive pitches after the ump missed the call then threw a FB down the middle to Kwan. He sucks. The ump was. He gave up one hit after a walk in which he threw strike three near the middle of the plate but was called a ball. Then he walked their best hitter rather than give him anything to hit.
In other words, Tilt was fine.
HE GAVE UP ONE HIT AND SHOULDVE BEEN OUT OF IT. I KNOW ITS A GAME THREAD BUT PEOPLE NEED TO ACTUALLY WATCH THE GAME.Thank you, Ryan FUCKING Brasier.
They didn’t exactly give him an easy job there. Cora changes pitchers with the bases loaded a lot.Schreiber is excruciating
We have Martin and Joely due back in the next few weeks.I can’t believe I’m still watching Brasier in MLB.
Yea he’s not nearly the same guy this year. He’s fine but like a 6th inning guy.Schreiber is excruciating
He gave up one hit and walked two. He got jobbed on a strike call but, like, he’s got one job, dude.HE GAVE UP ONE HIT AND SHOULDVE BEEN OUT OF IT. I KNOW ITS A GAME THREAD BUT PEOPLE NEED TO ACTUALLY WATCH THE GAME.
Thank you.
Hopefully. Seems nothing keeps Brasier off the roster. We have Martin and Joely due back in the next few weeks.
I'm going to have to see that diagram thingy on the Straw at-bat before conceding that the blow call was just about right down the middleHE GAVE UP ONE HIT AND SHOULDVE BEEN OUT OF IT. I KNOW ITS A GAME THREAD BUT PEOPLE NEED TO ACTUALLY WATCH THE GAME.
Thank you.
One walk should have been a strikeout. The other was him being almost certainly told to pitch around their most dangerous hitter. Would you have preferred that he tried to pitch to Jose Ramirez?3ER on 1 hit and 2BB when you’re up by 4 in the 7th is not “fine,” non strike call or not.
