Somebody has to start this. My record as a thread-starter is awful, but I'm willing to take one for the team here.

Remember when Corey Kluber was good? Maybe he does.

We have Celtics-Hawks game 5, and who the hell wants to watch the ass-end Kluber's career? I think this is the perfect opportunity for Corey to return to his glory days, because nobody will be paying attention.

Kyle Bradish (rhymes with radish!) hasn't allowed an earned run in two brief appearances. Let's make him sad.

Game 25
Monday upended our usual script:
The “quick lead” and “comeback” teams both got flipped.
Casas and Devers helped make it 4 – nil,
then Cora left Sale to die on the hill.
The swing-and-miss stuff Chris usually throws
went missing, so the game swung for the O’s.
Most teams we’ve played are in second or first.
Will we make a move when things are reversed?
When we play squads who are in fifth or fourth,
will we still head south and will we go north?
It’s a topsy-turvy, up-and-down year.
Are we more than “mid”? The answer’s unclear.
We’re 12 and 12 but we’ll sing Corey’s praise
for a Boss start that brings back glory days.

To the DL, Valdez up
This is disappointing. Chang was playing well. His steady defense and improving bat were helping solidify the team. The subsequent shifting of players in his absence is more significant than the simple removal of him from the lineup. I hope he is not gone for an extended amount of time.

Totally agree. While it was a rickety house, his presence helped to tie it together.

Hamate fractures aren't great for ballplayers. Even after it heals, strength takes time to return. I think best case scenario is 6-8 weeks, probably longer.

I am so disappointed. I wanted the kid on the team and felt that he was making a real contribution. So many injuries in baseball. Players dropping like flies....

Guy walks two straight, so you swing at the first pitch and kill the inning? That's your approach,Yoshi?
