I start shooting a new film today. I hope that when I wrap on May 12th, you’re still starting the game threads.

It doesn't get any easier in this series. The Orioles have won 6 in a row, 10 of their last 12.
Hopefully this time the Red Sox will be able to contain their running game. It's on the pitchers to not allow their runners to get such great jumps.

Let’s win @ Fenway South, although it’s probably way more orange than in past years

6:25 start

Orioles were 10 for 10 in steals in the first three games against the Sox, 15 for 18 in 18 games since.

Sox have allowed 10 out of 15 steals since (20 games).

It feels like both the Sox have gotten better with the running game and the Orioles have slowed down (at least in frequency of attempts). Basically, those first two games might be an outlier. Fingers crossed.

Game 24
Sunday was fun. The Sox never lost faith.
Down 4 to 3, we scored 9 in the 8th.
It was an awesome offensive attack:
Turner and Yoshi homered back-to-back
Hernandez doubled. Duran took ball four.
Hit singles from Wong - Chang ran up the score.
Brewers then gave a free pass to Raffy
to face Macho Man. That made him laugh, he
showed them this strategy was all for naught
and hit a grand slam: a second-deck shot.
Are these Sox for real? It’s looking that way.
Over 500. (At least for today.)
We saw the Brewers, the Angels, and Twins
and came away with 3 straight series wins.
With great momentum we face Baltimore.
It's still Fenway South. Let's get number 4.

Day off for Gunnar going up against a tough *cough* lefty. Gunnar is only OPS’ing .489 against lefties.

Orioles are coming off a two week vacation with series against Oakland, the White Sox, Washington and Detroit. Time to give them a case of the Mondays.

Not a lot to thread about so far.
Awful first strike call to Raffy.
Other than that, not much to report yet.
