This season has been kind of fun for all the wrong reasons. Tonight, Sanchez makes it back and will likely get the start. Besides him, the kids have been a really well-performing injection into what was a dead team for the first half of our season to this point.

I’m assuming that the top of the lineup will be DJ, Voit, Sanchez, Frazier. That is not a top 4 to complain about right now.

Goldendoodles can keep the streak alive, too. In fact, this curly fluffy creature insisted that he’s going to help CC get to 3000ks tonight. Though, he made no promises about staying awake the whole game.

Also, don't look now but the Yankees are baseball's hottest team over the last 10 games, going 8-2.

Gardner is 7 for 10 in his last 2 and DJ is slumping badly, so I’d replace DJ in your order above.

8-2 is also when CC came back, the rotation has been awesome since then.

Higashioka sent down for Sanchez, and Green thankfully sent down for Tarpley. Poor planning to have sent Joe Harvey down, hopefully he’ll be back soon.

Chad Green could still have a great year but whether its the yips or his mechanics, sending him down is the right thing to do.

Yeah, when you can't be trusted in a 7-1 game and you have an option, it's the only real decision.

Sometimes the kids gotta pick up the slack when the elders aren't doing the job, ya kno?
You remind me of Tauchman. He just plays and wins. All he does is win.

I do think you are reaping the benefits of good defense and situational hitting that the B Team seems to do well. Loved Abbey’s stat about all the DPs Urshela is starting at third base. The pitching staff may tie Andujar to a dugout pole with duct tape to keep him off the field.

Seems like poor defensive positioning against Pujols. Low energy game so far.

annnnd an error by Sanchez.

I am behind but CC had absolutely nothing tonight, this is why you held out Loaisiga last night.

Also what a stinker from Sanchez so far, yoiks.

Lucroy gifting NY yet another run this series, we’ll take it. 5-2 mid sixth, the lineup misses Frazier.

If CC entered this game with 3002 Ks, I think Loaisiga is in at 2-0, although CC did finally look good in the 5th once the damage was done.

Huh. I wonder what camera angle they had to see that.
I assume more than one synced up. I obviously want the right call but if it takes 4 minutes and is it overturned on the fact that he was slightly repositioning his foot for a tenth of a second...come on

Sanchez with a good chance to salvage his putrid night leading off.

OK, score here and don’t let Trout get up again (fifth batter in the 9th).

Wade is a fast fast man.

Chapman will get a chance at redemption from the other night.
