Drive give up three in the seventh, losing streak reaches double digits with a 5-2 defeat.

Boxscore

Kutter Crawford went surrendered two runs (one earned) on five hits and a hit by pitch over five frames; striking out nine. Brendan Nail gave up a single and struck out the other four batters he faced. Marcos Lantigua let in three runs (all unearned) on four hits over 2 2/3 innings, whiffing one.

Charlie Madden managed a perfect day at the plate with two singles and a walk. Kervin Suarez swatted two singles in four treks. Victor Acosta accumulated a free pass and a single in four ventures. Marino Campana chipped in with a single in four matchups. Ramfis Berroa was bopped with a pitch and blasted a sacrifice fly in three appearances. The top four in the Drive lineup – Michael Osinski, Cole Brannen, Everlouis Lozada, and Pedro Castellanos – could not get in gear, going a combined 0-for-16.

The three runs seventh was helped along by two throwing errors on the SAME play – by first baseman Castellanos attempting to get the lead runner for the second out of the inning at second and then by SS Lozada who threw wildly in an attempt to get the same runner at third.
