Word is that the Yankees have their ear to ground for good deals on large powerful outfielders, infielders, and an ambulance. Paxton is coming off his best start as a Yankee where he struck out 12 and looked like every bit of his upside. If that is the Paxton we are going to see this year, then we are going to be very very happy.

This is the best I could for an appropriate Easter mascot today, since there were no pictures of real life bunnies wearing Yankees caps.

Does this change the Andujar strategy? DH him when ready? Stanton in left? Voit at 1B? This is just what the doctor ordered for Frazier.

Yep, there's room for Andujar at DH now, Stanton can go to RF when he is back (hopefully right after the road trip) and Frazier can go to LF.

Infield hit to lead off the 4th for KC, then Paxton strikes out the next 3, 9 through 4 innings now. He doesn’t even have his best fastball but is mixing it up much more than he did against BOS.

Boone is banking on pitching and defense today. Hope Ford can get job done at first base.

Ted Williams was a virgin until he was 21, or so Roger Angel said in the PBS documentary. Ted told him so, without asking, many years later.
Ford looks fine at first so far, and I actually had a casual acquaintance with Ted's very estranged son John Henry during his last, sad years, Ted's family relationships were as uncomfortable as his relationship with the fans, so that comes as no surprise...
