Does anyone have an explantation for why the 2023 Winckowski has completely eclipsed the 2022 Winckowski?

I'm just going off memory, but I remember him last year topping out around 94 with the sinking fastball. He's 96-97 with it so far this year. A couple MPH is really making a difference.
