Just three days later, we've got a rematch of the stunning City Spurs match, back at the Etihad. Still major league implications for both teams

City up 1-0 on a fantastic Aguero header pass that was headed in by 19 year old Phil Foden for his first career premier league goal.

How Spurs have convinced Son to stay as a backup forward sometimes winger I don’t know but what a good player. He’s been the best striker on the pitch 3 games running and I can’t wait for these 45 minutes to be over to see the back of him.

Just catching up on the match. KDB injured his knee? What a snake bitten season for him.

It's amazing that City may win the title while getting almost no contribution from their best player.
What’s more amazing is how much of my enjoyment of this season may rest with Hugo Lloris and his crap backup. Between that awful drop against Liverpool, the penalty save and numerous ones in the Cl, now that foot save by Gazzaniga I’m ready to be throwing things at the wall when Spurs get the inevitable equalizer

Honestly, 1-0 loss isn't end of world. Last 4 league games are all eminently winnable.

However, if we could nick a draw here...hard not to be impressed with Spurs efforts these 3 City games.

My god is Sane fast with the ball at his feet.

And it’s getting chippy out there.

Edit: good thing this game ended when it did or Sterling was going to catch fists.

Foden's goal was well-executed but I don't understand how City got a 2v1 in the six-yard box against a back 5. Terrible defensive breakdown.

Pleasant surprise to hear Ian Darke on the call for this Brighton game. Albion parked a fleet of buses in the first half; trying a little harder to do something now. Brighton hasn't scored a goal in forever and is in real relegation danger.

Huge point for Brighton. 3 more points should be enough to stay up. Brutal schedule remaining though. Might need to beat Newcastle.

West Ham robbed of a goal and then toss 2 points away in stoppage time.

Just dawned on me that if ever there was a time to name a thread “Bong Hits for Jesus,” this was it.

Incredible bike off a throw in to give Everton an early 1-0 lead over United. Not just a fluke either, they've had lots of pressure through the first 15 minutes.

This is what makes the capitulations against Newcastle and Fulham so frustrating. Other than their utter failure in those games, Everton have looked fantastic. 7/9 points in last 3 vs top 6.

So, saw 4-0 and didn't even register for a few moments that Everton was up. Wow.

If this was a fight they would have stopped it ten minutes ago. MU dead on their feet. Literally going through the motions- walking after balls.

Forgive me this is a dumb question, but is there any chance ManU rescinds their offer to Ole Gunnar Solskjær?
No. I think there’s an understanding that this team needs a rebuild.

Ole might quit if he doesn’t get the funding, however...

A goal from Benteke!!!!!!

(I know he’s struggling, but you’d think Arsenal would have at least one man within 5 yards of him on a set piece-even he couldn’t miss that one).

What a save by Alison!

Liverpool have spurned some good chances, but Cardiff are completely up for this match - fans and squad alike. Good match so far.

I have been enjoying the new attacking Henderson, but not when he’s in the box. He lacks the close control and finesse for the tightest spaces.

Back and forth 2-2 game between Chelsea and Burnley where both teams led at points in the first 15 minutes.

Chelsea with an incredible opportunity to pick up points on Arsenal, Spurs and ManU who all lost this week.

Burnley gets the draw!

That means this weekend, the 3rd through 6th placed clubs dropped 10 of a possible 12 points.

They all kind of dodged a bullet, despite lousy results and botched opportunities.

11 points out of 12, actually. Chelsea's point against Burnley was it, with the other 3 all losing.
