Looked like Preds Man got his stick in on Heineken's hands on that partial break a few minutes ago.
This is the baseball equivalent of a pitcher’s duel. At least score wise. Come on Bruins, put one in.
They may be coming into playoff form? Also, has Peeke been a good replacement for Forbert? So far he seems to be doing just fine.
I only got to watch the 3rd period last night but I’m glad I did - what a strong finish. Ullmark made solid stops, the D stood up when necessary (some Lohrei brainfarts excluded) and the team pulled out a successful 5 on 6.
Ullmark’s clear, Marchand’s vision and Coyle’s finish were all things of beauty on the critical short handed goal. Pasta made that 2nd goal happen but Heinen made a great pass and Zacha was in perfect position to rip it home. And Pasta’s ENG from the center dot was an excellent way to finish the surge.
Happy that Ully got a shutout. I know there were defensive lapses because he had to stand up and make some critical saves but as I was watching the game it felt like the 5 skaters on the ice were making the right decisions and effectively getting the puck to the neutral ice.
It was a tight game - until it wasn’t. xGF was really close in 5v5 but at the end of the day for all situations the Bruins had a 3.52-2.68 edge.
