My only real gripe with the off-season but I’m also trying to understand that Nate is working on a multi-year deal and getting 3x the money Kluber is.
I've watched a large swath of Red Sox baseball, and I would say they deserve to be right where they are at 9-9. Which is not bad.
I was distracted during last night's game, and the only thing I want to know is: did they play with the mallard couple on the field or did they shoo them away?
The Sox have nine starters. They don't need any middling guys on multiyear deals. But it also appears that as one-year deals go, Kluber's looks like shit.
No such thing as a bad one year deal, as they say, but yeah it has been rough to watch so far. It’s not just the results but he’s throwing slop.
The ducks were in play. They got to see Turner strike out to end the inning, then took off on their own.

TBH they weren’t shown taking flight off the field; after the commercials they were just gone.
It seems like an editorial decision that needs to be made network-wide. If the score bug identifies a pitch as a sweeper, should they call it a slider?
Dave O'Brien claimed that they had flown away during the break, but I suspect snipers.
Oh, I think I'm going to go upstairs and shower and tune in later to see if the Sox batters can overcome the horribleness of this supposed "starter."
