That was good last night.

I’m up for more wins. I also have faith in Kluber.

Game 19
Behold! We battled and bested the Twins
with one of our weirdest, wackiest wins.
So many moments that just seemed absurd:
Christian’s C.I., Kike sneaking to third,
pinch running pitchers, a passed ball third strike,
a rare Chris Sale start that we kinda like,
that tenth inning Twin killing double play,
The “wait and see” “did we walk-off” delay.
O’Brien’s confusion, “pond” and field ducks,
Dugie displaying he gives a few fucks.
T’was a satisfying, strange, surreal game.
Back at it tonight. Let’s hope for the same.

If Verdugo has a sense of humor, he'd take the field with tape across his mouth.

Wow, hitter 6-9 and then back to 1 and 2 are all lefties-- 6 straight lefties when the order turns over.
Two of the Twins' lefty relievers pitched last night: Thielbar threw 17 pitches, and Moran threw 27. They also have another lefty on the roster, Headrick.

They've got Joe Ryan starting, a tough righty. Hopefully we can get him out fairly early and get after their bullpen.

Casas has shown good patience

I'd probably go

Verdugo
Turner (R)
Devers
Casas
Enrique (R)
McGuire
Duran
Tapia
Valdez

Give Valdez 2 guys with speed he can sacrifice or H&R, to deal with pressure of first game up.

Maybe even move up Reese a spot, so he has 3.

I can’t believe Bloom signed Chang not knowing he was pregnant.
Chaim mulling his 2023 shortstop options:
"Well, there is the franchise icon. He may be a little expensive, but hell, its only money..."
Pads just offered him $280 mil, boss.
"Oh...Send him a nice thank you card, maybe an edible arrangement. How about our big money second baseman/former shortstop?"
Hate to tell you boss, but his elbow needs extra duct tape and maybe 4-6 months.
"OK, no problem. Get the Royals on the phone. They've got a slick fielding short stop they don't really need."
Well, he's got a bum knee and can barely walk right now.
"Even better! I bet they'd take next to nothing for him."
We do have a surplus of next-to-nothing.
"Make it so, Number 1. We can move our center fielder to SS until that guy heals up, and sign a free agent CF who IS all healed up"
Great idea, sir...but just in case, should we maybe add a little depth, just to be sure?
"Depth? Don't we still have Bobby D?"
Uh, yeah, but I was thinking someone who can actually play shortstop. There is this one guy, he can field the position, though he might go 0 for 30 at some point. Only problem is, sir, I don't know how to say this, the man is pregnant!
"Pregnant? Hah! We're talking deep depth here. We're never going to need the guy. Our injury luck is bound to change, right?

Kinda caught the tail end of this interview with Sam Kennedy… did he just say the city connect jerseys were going to become a more common sight and that they were going to mix the home whites in??? I hope I heard something wrong there… jfc

So I checked Sox prospects about this kid. They had him a a so-so bat, lousy fielder. That accurate?

Sox are 17-4 in those yellow jerseys. If they play like that with them on, wear them as much as you want.
