Teddy Stankiewicz followed with six scoreless frames, yielding two singles and a walk while striking out a septet. Daniel McGrath managed the final two innings, surrendering a single, a double, and a walk while striking out a quartet.

Josh Ockimey obliterated the Goats with two singles and a seventh inning grand slam; he also was caught stealing once in four trips. Esteban Quiroz, Josh Tobias, and Jeremy Rivera each reached on a single and a walk in four jaunts; Quiroz's walk was intentional (and the third walk before Ockimey's blast). Jared Oliver somehow went 2 2/3 innings and only gave up a single run despite giving up a single, five walks, and two hit by pitches; Oliver also tossed two wild pitches and committed a balk while whiffing one. Matthew Gorst surrendered two runs on four hits, a wild pitch, and a walk over 2 2/3 frames; Gorst struck out seven of the eight men he retired. Jordan Weems pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning.

Jhon Nunez notched two singles, a walk, and a stolen base in five jaunts. Tyler Hill hit a single and took three free passes in five trips; he was also picked off. Carlos Tovar collected a single and a walk in four treks. Jerry Downs and Ryan Scott each scorched a hit in five sessions; Scott with a triple. Bobby Dalbec walked twice amid three hitless at-bats.
