I probably shouldn't say this out loud but why the fuck does the sox gamethread always devolve when they're losing into "we should bean the other team." I have to fight every fiber in me to not post there.
Celtics and Bruins playing playoff games right now too, you can understand the adrenaline.

Really not a fan of Gleyber at SS, but I guess they don't have too many other options.

Come on, Adam, one more out.

Ottaviano gets his baptism in the rivalry. Lot of good things happening in this series, small details. Still only April and doesn’t mean diddly.

Great run so far, Terry. Only two games, but Red Sox count extra.

You and Crow are slowly turning things around.

Sorry, we have nothing to do with this! But it is fun to run the ship for a few nights. I get more focused on the games.
I can say this now. The Sox had so many things go right last year. And now everything is going wrong. In sports, you can lose confidence quickly, especially if you don’t have a long history of success. The damage to Brasier’s psyche will be interesting to measure over the next three games in Tampa.
Funny that Tampa now has all the credibility in the East. Young team on the rise. We saw it last year so this is no fluke. The league may get a book on their young hitters. Still, very nice to see someone besides NY and Boston in the mix.

Wow, that was Chapman's first 1/2/3 inning against BOS since his first appearance against them for NY in 2016. I had blotted out how bad he has been against them or I would have been more scared in the ninth, at least he seems healthier now.
