Jesus Christ... if Sale had thrown that fastball some other team would have hit it for a grand slam...

Lay off the garbage Mcguire, and you'll probably just walk into a run

I can bear a lot of stuff, but swinging at hot garbage with the bases loaded makes my blood curdle

I'm not sure why scouts haven't figured out Casas yet. Just throw strikes to him. (Especially with a four run lead.)
It's like they are pitching around a guy who hasn't proven he can square up a fastball.
Not so much this year. The OBP in the early going is ugly

Hitters count and Tapia is sitting dead-red....slider in the dirt???

Could be a very different game right now if Bello had gotten the same calls this guy from LAAAA has gotten.

If you're going to have Tapia be the leadoff hitter, it should be with the understanding that he doesn't swing at anything. Don't get either the decision to bat him there or his approach.

Meanwhile Casas' ability to pick balls is ... well it's not great.

Had your chance to call it, dummies. Nah, in the hands of the umps once the game started.
Isn't it the case that this being the Angels last visit (only one actually) to Fenway this game is in the hands of MLB/Umpires?

I know it used to be that way.

Crawford botching the easiest throw to first he'll ever make and Casas botching his third pick of the inning, this team is so defensively awful
