I survived one Garrett Richards start. Starting to feel like I'm pressing my luck asking for another, but here I am. Here's hoping we can make 10 in a row. This is just a really fun team to watch. Keep it going, boys, and bring the streak back home to Fenway.

ESPN still thinks the sox are a shit team!

ESPN "new" "power rankings" are out are we are apparently the 4th best team in the AL east! (yankees #3, rays #10, Jays #11, and we are #12)

while Christian Yelich is beginning to look like his old self.
Christian Yelich has not played in 4 FUCKING DAYS!

do these assholes at ESPN just throw darts at a board to decide these rankings?>

Yeah, but it's ESPN who takes every opportunity to crap on Boston teams, well, at least on the Patriots. Plus, they raised the Sox from 21st to 12th today.

More importantly, who's got the good link for watching today's game online?

No JD today.
He looked like he was off a bit yesterday, not sure if he just wasn't seeing the ball well or if they were just making a lot of great pitches against him.

Just a heads-up for those who were looking for a stream that it looks like MLBN is picking this up due to a rain delay in the game it was going to show.

Josh Donaldson getting the Kemba/Kevan Miller load management treatment. No back-to-backs. Pretty unusual for MLB position players.

Just got back from a morning workout, sitting down with coffee to watch the Sox go for #10. It’s a great day

Nice inning. Love the high blue socks on some of the players.

DOB has said something like “Kepler has great power” every single time he comes to the plate. Which sure, he hit 36 in 2019, but other than that he’s never hit over 20. Seems a weird point to keep bringing up

Wow Pineda. Just remembered that when the Yankees acquired him, I was convinced that they just found their dominant ace for the next 5 years and we were screwed. IIRC, he started out incredibly strongly and then got injured and was just okay after that.

Isn’t that pretty great power? That’s at least 60 for game power on a scouting scale.

I guess you might say it’s like Ellsbury: he had a 30 HR season in 2011, but it’s not really his carrying tool. You wouldn’t say Ellsbury has great power, even though... he kinda did.

Richards is throwing 88 mph slop above the belt. This probably won't end well if he continues to do that.
