Zach Schellenger yielded four runs on three hits, two walks, and a hit by pitch while getting only two outs in the seventh. Adam Lau walked two and struck out three over 1 1/3 innings.

Juan Carlos Abreu and Korby Batesole each had two hits in four jaunts; Abreu with a double. Triston Casas and Grant Williams each garnered a double and a base on balls in four trips. Alan Marrero mashed a homer in four matchips. Devlin Granberg walked once, was hit once, and was caught stealing once in four appearances. Jordan Wren walked once in four junkets. Kervin Suarez was unable to reach in four sessions. Cole Brannen had five frustrating forays.

Michael Chavis’s two homers for PawSox over the weekend were measured at 467 and 470 feet, according to Pawtucket Times beat writer Brendan McGair. Chavis has been playing second base for the past few games. A former shortstop and third baseman, Chavis seems to have a nice future somewhere, perhaps in Boston by 2020.
