Espinoza has actually given up some runs tonight. It's just so....unexpected
@Detts will write more on this but they were not really a huge concern. There were two big hits down the left field line which normally would have been caught had the LF been positioned normally. He was shading to his right by about ten feet for whatever reason.

Another run occurred when the Drive misplayed a guy taking 2nd with men on 1st and 3rd after one of those aforementioned hits.

More telling of Espinoza - WV's starting SS was bunting with two strikes on him in the 3rd inning of a meaningless early season game.

The box score will not also reflect Chavis tagging a ball about as hard as a human can right at the head of the opposing SP. missed him by maybe a foot.

It feels weird using positional names instead of real names - after the windfall of talent last year this is definitely not as fun of a roster.

I got shitty video last night but will post a little bit later. Espinoza is definitely filling out, Detts also recognized a small change in mechanics
