Lysell buries his first NHL goal. He’s getting better. One of the knocks on him was supposedly he went home to train in the summer instead of staying in Boston and going through an NHL offseason training program. Hopefully he does that this year. This is a huge summer for him.

Happy for Lysell. Something on which to build. And Geek's goal was an absolute missile.

But for now, maybe a few more Pitts PP goals? A real barnburner high scoring affair where the visiting team comes up juuuuust a bit short?

He has since he was drafted
Dude needs to stay on his skates, too. He and Poitras both need to keep their feet.

We have a slew of smaller skill guys now. No Freddy to protect them. Guess that’s Lauko and Zadorov, now.

Korpisalo acquitted himself well, from what I saw.

That’s not what people tell me Sweeney wants though.
He made a comment somewhere recently about becoming a faster, more skilled team, I believe. The pendulum swings yet again.

I remember the Burridge/Pedersen/Kasper years of buzzing around on the forecheck against bigger teams, peppering the opponent’s net with consistently high shot totals, making the playoffs every year, but no hardware. Selkes for Kasper, maybe?
