Got to admit, getting drunk and screaming at Schneider that he's a fucking ginger cunt is more fun than anticipated

That last goal happened because Hall bobbled the puck a little. Chara got jumpy, went for the puck, and got caught in the middle, which opened up an opportunity for the pass. It's easy to get mad at Carlo or even Chara, but that's just bad luck.

Anyone who does the wave at a hockey game (or any game for that matter) should be permanently banned from the building.

Stafford looks like a clear upgrade over Hayes/Beleskey. Maybe they should have picked up a backup goalie while they were at it...

The wave is embarrassing. Shut it down, Realness.
The wave can be hilarious if brought out on a rare occasion to signify disinterest with the events at hand.

I'd be ripshit if people in front of me were doing that in game like this one.

Wave aside, nice performance. Devils have some pretty sweet parts, but are far from a good team. Nice to see us push them around even if Schneider kept it close.

Mega game on Monday at Ottawa.

McQuiad is a tough dude. Schneider played well and kept NJ in the game but it was good to get the 2 points.

Ho-hum:

"Initially, when I didn't see any blood, I figured that I was OK," McQuaid said. "They didn't blow the whistle, and [play] was still going on in an obviously important part of the game. I was pretty helpless without my stick, but I was just trying to be a body getting in the way."
"I don't think many guys saw it on the ice," added McQuaid, whose stitches resemble a zipper running halfway across the right side of his neck. "Once I got to the bench, Colin Miller at first was like, 'Oh, you're OK.' Then, 'No, actually, you're cut. You might want to have it looked at.' "

I think the Bruins, for the first time in a while, are actually ahead of the pace of both the Isles and Leafs--3 points up on NY with 1 more game played, and 4 up on Toronto.
