Well, they are now 2 behind the bucks for home court and they have been playing lately like they would prefer to play game 7 in Milwaukee. Infuriating.
The first part is straight facts - they are now far behind Milwaukee and they may not be able to make up that ground.

Not sure I agree with the second. I think this team very much wants the top seed but also doesn't want to play at the same pace that many think cost them the championship last season.

Am I super concerned, deep down? That they won't make at least the final four? Not really.

I'd like to know Tatum's wrist's status, though. And uh, lol if Rob got seriously hurt again tonight.

Cultural hub of the universe
Shit, that was just a nut punch of a loss. Just pathetic effort in the 2nd and 3rd that allowed the Nets to get rolling. You could see it from the start, even when everything was going their way, that they just weren't taking this seriously.

where I was last at
I don' t know my Harry Potter but it seems the Celts are the Miracle Max of the NBA. They have the cure for mostly dead teams and bring them back to life.

I’m not concerned per se because they clearly dgaf against bad teams.

But when they lose it tends to happen in pretty similar ways where they just lose the plot completely. But again, it’s hard to make much of it because so many of these games have come against the dregs and they haven’t really come against the good teams for the most part.

Of course, last spring still haunts me so every loss that looks the same is going to be triggering.

I am sick over that game. I see them as a final four team but that’s about the extent of my confidence. I still see them as getting out of sync offensively and defensively and having such trouble getting back on track. Last night was the worst. I love the team and the players but something is off when that shit happens.

yep, last night was sickening. I guess we can hope it's a wakeup call. They've had similar low-effort games against weaker opponents, but none as disastrous as this one. I'm sure they're embarrassed and maybe that pays some dividends in terms of making sure effort is consistently there, but this was truly dreadful. Of course, in big picture, it's one regular season game. Hope they get back on track tomorrow against an opponent that has given them some trouble, and also hope Time Lord is ok.
