I’m increasingly convinced those concussions have just neutered him psychologically. I know the advanced defensive metrics love him, but man, he just looks like Hal Gill these days.
Hal Gill could at least use his size and reach to get in the way. And he was good at standing his ground and clearing the front of the net. That third Florida goal is deflected into the crowd if that’s Gill out there.
Im not convinced the Bruins have more than one playoff series worth of these efforts in them, but i'm happy to be proven wrong.
