Another one that feels like a bit of a revenge game.
Buffalo is one spot out of the playoffs so you know they're coming in fired up to win. They're actually much better on the road than at home, this should be a challenge.

Keep it rolling.

Buffalo is shorthanded, I believe Dahlin and Tuch are out for them. Another tough schedule spot here, very quick turnaround after the 3 in 4 in Western Canada. Just get through tonight and Saturday then they get a 4 day breather.

We'll see how the lineup shakes out. Early word was it's unlikely that either Hall or Foligno play, leaving them a forward short on the roster and no cap space for a recall. That means 11/7, barring something happening between now and game time. Wonder if they'd use Zboril as the 7th, something he's done twice, and continue the rest-a-regular on defense or if they'd just dress the presumed top 7 defensemen.

Looks like Lauko is up. We'll see what happens with Bertuzzi getting here. Also, it appears Forbor is the odd man out on D and Orlov riding with Carlo.

Marchand - Bergeron - DeBrusk
Zacha - Krejci - Pastrnak
Greer - Coyle - Frederic
Lauko - Nosek - Hathaway

Grzelyck - McAvoy
Orlov - Carlo
Lindholm - Clifton

Swayman?

Montgomery wasn't kidding. He's really giving Orlov the grand tour of defensemen. (I doubt McAvoy or Lindholm will rotate out anytime soon, but nothing surprises me anymore with this team.)

Pretty sure Monty said 73 and 27 would be exempt from the rotation.

This is the D set up I'd like to see come the Playoffs, although I'd guess the rotation will be match-up dependent (and injury dependent )

Andy Brickley's potty mouth
So, like, I stop paying attention for one morning and we add a huge piece and my favorite player on the planet gets extended?

How many laps around the neighborhood do I need to do to calm down? The fuck

Same thing happened to me. I’m in Austin, TX and missed all of this. Simply incredible.

Win please because I want to see the goalie hug that celebrates this new configuration.

Puck off the boards just didn't want to settle for Marchand to put it in the net... so he then rushed the shot into the post

That was a sick move by Frederic.

He’s turning into a player.
He has both reduced his mistakes and increased his smart plays as the year has gone on. He is a sponge for learning and has the oomph to use it.

Have a feeling that the B's are going to bust out in the second. 3-0, 3-1 maybe, after two, I say.
