Heck of a way to end the road trip and get back moving in the right direction. Got Ottawa and Montreal before TB, so let’s not let up the next couple and then Saturday’s TB game should be a fantastic game.

People were saying that Buffalo's 10-4 loss to Dallas was the end of their season, but they were at least "in" that game at one point (down 3-5 in the 3rd). They had no hope today.

Honestly if you told me they would go 3-2 on this road trip, I would've said "that sounds about right."

They took a couple games off after clinching a playoff spot. Not really much to worry about all said and done. The power play is still a bit concerning but I have confidence they'll get it going come playoff time.

Still can't believe how much they just slowly beat them down in that game... just took their will to play the game away from them.

Really liking Lauko's game. His speed and tenacity are adding another dimension to the fourth line. He's going to play a lot of hockey in a B's sweater next year. Could eventually be a third liner.

Trent Frederic's "its my turn now" response in his fight with Cozens is just *chef's kiss*. Deflected and absorbed until Cozens got tired, and then used energy efficiently to respond with 5 punches that were the best 5 thrown all fight.

That's a lot of the B's this season. They'll play you hard until you get tired, and then will start capitalizing when you do.

I was worried about a swoon after the Chicago game (and honestly after the 2nd Detroit game). I’m not too worried right now.

That game was fun! I hardly ever go to games and I am too cheap to get seats like I had for this one (fourth row watching 6 of the 7 goals right in front of me), so I'm glad the Bruins were thinking of me today! Woo hoo!

I enjoyed Fredrick's shit eating grin and trash talking up close.
I also enjoyed the way Hathaway skates around every shift with this maniacal look on his face like he is ready to rip your head off.

To the naked eye the McAvoy goal was just weird -- I watched it and thought, wait, do NHL goals happen like that? They never look like that on tv? Watching the replay I am glad to see that it was a uniquely weak effort from Buffalo there at the end.

Also, I loved Bertuzzi's game up close. And I absolutely pity the teams who have to play the Bruins when the Bruins completely figure out a sense of feel for Bertuzzi and a couple line mates. Somebody is going to get hosed by a four assist game from that guy.

Yep on Bertuzzi. There were several times because of the camera angle that he sent out a pass and I was wondering what the hell was going on, but there would be a bruin right on the end of it every time.

Bertuzzi has looked really good to my untrained eye - aggressive skating and making contact, looking to pass a lot and taking some shots.

It’s a bit surprising he hasn’t potted a goal yet (though he kicked one in today and had a double-post in another game).

He’s the type of player I often want to see with Coyle, a player with some skill who can maybe convert when Charlie is doing a good job with carrying in and possessing the puck in the offensive zone.

Hasn't he had three called back since joining the Bs? One for offsides and the two you mentioned? Just some puck luck there but he's been a huge positive factor otherwise.

I am full on expecting a “He only had 1 goal in the regular season after joining the Bruins , and already has 3 through the first 2 games of this opening playoff series” type breakout.
