3/17 Celts at Portland...and hopefully, 3/18 Celtics at Utah

Winning is better than losing. Especially given that the Cs are 2.5 down from the Bucks and only 1 ahead of the Sixers. And the fact that they barely eeked out a win over a weak Timberwolves squad on Wednesday.

Win this one.

And if so, this is going to be the thread for the Utah game on 3/18, as I will not be off the grid tomorrow and not able to start a new one.

Here's to a two-game winning mega thread.

Smart and Brogdon doubtful. PP out. If White doesn't play all 48 minutes we may see the Jays at the 1 and a handful of non-garbage minutes for JDD.

Bounce the Blazers!

Win the goddamn game! This team is too good for continued malaise. Against the 24th ranked defense I want to see drive and kicks and much better spacing than we've seen lately.

I am once again asking the Celtics to play hard defense for 48 - count 'em - 48 minutes. Thank you that is all.

They need to play Kornet more I think. They were rolling with him getting real minutes earlier in the year. He certainly has limitations but the lob/dunk/rim run threat is a differentiator for this offense that otherwise will just Jack as many threes as they can. It’s not like the offense or defense has been so good without him.

Really? Seems like they're having fun.
Yeah I get that they enjoy each other. I love Grande and am surprised that there are folks who cannot stand him. He has a deep love and knowledge of the game and I find his humor to be pitch perfect. He plays well off Max and Scal too, especially given that the latter has some really out there takes.

This Vegas roller skating act have almost crashed like 4 times already. It's a bit awkward.

It really feels like he's their 3rd best big, and if Muscala/Blake aren't hitting their 3s, Kornet is miles ahead of them. With TL hurt, Kornet immediately becomes the most important bench player.

Portland might be in tank mode. Pile it on for the rest of the quarter, let the bench mob get some run, get to SLC, rest, beat the Jazz, profit.
