Most 20 goal seasons has got to be Gordie Howe, right.

Looked it up. He has 29 seasons of 20+ goals. Holy shit

How long has NESN done that flashy "Program Alert" thing at the bottom of the screen only to say, "Stay tuned for Bruins overtime"?

I thought another Revis caliber signing was about to be announced

306, row 14
Bruins jumped over Anaheim for the most ROW in the league. It's not a goal they should pursue, but they're now 2 points behind St. Louis in the President's trophy race.

If the Bruins play at a point per game pace the rest of the way, they win the Atlantic no matter what anyone else does.  I believe they also clinch a playoff spot with their next win. (Detroit would need to go undefeated to catch the Bruins if the Bruins win one more game (or whenever they collect 2 more points), and I tihnk the Bruins win the tiebreaker even in this scenario, but I haven't gone all the way through).

The B's have 16 games left, and Magic #'s of 15(TOR), 16(TB), 14(MON), 12(DET), and 9(OTT).

Since Detroit is currently the first team out in the wild card scenario, the B's Playoff Clinch # is the same as theirs, currently.  Obviously, as the team in that "first one out" changes, the B's magic # to clinch a spot will change.

I put a great site for figuring out Magic #'s on the resource thread, so anyone can take a look at a glance if they want.

Deep inside Muppet Labs
Claude gets his 300th win in Boston.

I probably wanted the guy fired 300 separate times before June 2011. This is why I have let the younger guys here do most of the posting, at some point I do get tired of being wrong all the time.

Really an incredible accomplishment.

right here
It just shows how fine of a line it is. One different bounce against the Habs in 2011 and Claude and Chia are probably both shown the door. Instead the B's are a model franchise with a deep talent pool and a reputation as a team you don't want to face in the playoffs.
