Hate to start a thread with this news, but there wasn't one already going so... https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/41986570/south-florida-basketball-coach-amir-abdur-rahim-dies-age-43
Abdur-Rahim seemed like a very good up-and-coming coach from a basketball family (older brother Shareef is an ex-player and currently president of the G League). Not a lot of details, just that he passed from "complications during a procedure" and had an "undisclosed illness". I feel for his family who already involuntarily signed off on a potentially absentee father and husband via his coaching career, and may have finally enjoyed some spoils and/or stability whether a long career at USF or Amir being hired by a top program. You can tell by the stories out of Kennesaw State and USF that this loss hits hard.
