Maybe he already decided to go back to OSU.Ewers killing his transfer portal $ tonite
Agreed. Their D will make ND one dimensional. Leonard throws 2 interceptions against OSU and they get blown out.I dunno. They can’t throw and I don’t see how you score enough to beat Ohio State without a potent passing game.
Ahhh. Quite clever thenMaybe he already decided to go back to OSU.
ND’s defense basically has to bring their A+ game or they’ll need turnover luck.Agreed. Their D will make ND one dimensional. Leonard throws 2 interceptions against OSU and they get blown out.
MrrrrrrrrrrrI HATE Ohio state so maybe my opinion is too clouded but it’s really kind of shitty that Ohio State will make the championship as a team with 2 losses and one of them was to their much, much less talented rival.
any year before this. What year, the year with 12 teams or 4 teams?
There were a handful of two loss teams in the playoff.
I agree. This was very nearly a 21-21 game. Ohio State didn't exactly blow out Penn State. I'm fine with Ohio State being the favorite but this doesn't feel like a lopsided matchup to me at all.I come away from this absolutely convinced ND can play with them, and beat them. They are 1,000% tougher and better coached than Texas.
any year before this.
they were definitely one of the best 12 teams this year.,
I guess I am the old man screaming at the clouds but it almost feels dirty to think that Ohio State will be the “champion”.
They got punched in the mouth by their rival. Every OSU fan wanted their coach fired and thar was their second loss. It just doesn’t seem right
Kinda felt like OSU knew it was making the playoffs no matter what and tanked the Michigan gameI HATE Ohio state so maybe my opinion is too clouded but it’s really kind of shitty that Ohio State will make the championship as a team with 2 losses and one of them was to their much, much less talented rival.
No way. Michigan is in Ryan Days head like the ghosts of baseball past were in Grady Littles headKinda felt like OSU knew it was making the playoffs no matter what and tanked the Michigan game
Aside from one game, they've clearly had a better season than anyone. Do you really want to compare losses with other teams? The NCAA decided that one game can no longer sink a team's season. It's weird that The Game really can't determine a season anymore, but here we are.any year before this.

They lost 2 games. One of them was a very close loss. The other was in the biggest rivalry in college football to a team with half of the talent.Aside from one game, they've clearly had a better season than anyone. Well, ESPN decided. The NCAA decided that one game can no longer sink a team's season.
The idea of Sark as an NFL coach is hilarious.Hopefully that Sark to the NFL rumor was just a money grab from the prospective of fans of NFL teams without a coach. That goal line stuff was wild
Losing to a Maction team should be more disqualifyingThey lost 2 games. One of them was a very close loss. The other was in the biggest rivalry in college football to a team with half of the talent.
IMO, that should be disqualifying but with 12 teams it’s not
The same OSU that had 14 points with under 8 minutes to go tonight???I dunno. They can’t throw and I don’t see how you score enough to beat Ohio State without a potent passing game.
Yup that team. If ND scores more than 10 points I will be shocked. The same OSU that had 14 points with under 8 minutes to go tonight???
Yup. How did Texas score tonight? In the air. ND can’t throw. OSU is very physical. If they don’t commit a million key penalties against ND, they’ll win.The same OSU that had 14 points with under 8 minutes to go tonight???
I’m worried they’re gonna send in the Duke basketball refs for NDYup. How did Texas score tonight? In the air. ND can’t throw. OSU is very physical. If they don’t commit a million key penalties against ND, they’ll win.
Please, you're just continuously repeating something completely irrational. The Buckeyes lost in Oregon because of a rule that embarrassed the NCAA so much they immediately changed it + not downing the ball a couple of seconds sooner... and then beat the ever-living shit out of them in a rematch at a neutral site. Texas lost twice to one team and Notre Dame had the most embarrassing loss of any playoff team. They lost 2 games. One of them was a very close loss. The other was in the biggest rivalry in college football to a team with half of the talent.
IMO, that should be disqualifying but with 12 teams it’s not
You've never been to Columbus, have you? Tanked the Michigan game, seriously?Kinda felt like OSU knew it was making the playoffs no matter what and tanked the Michigan game
Ok bud. Please, you're just continuously repeating something completely irrational. Wait, so you're arguing that they shouldn't have been in the playoffs? I'm not computing. They literally steamrolled through every team so far. Do you make this same argument in the NFL when an 8 seed wins the SB?Ok bud.
I think I’ve continually made my position very clear that the loss to Michigan, their biggest rival, a loss that made A TON of the OSU faithful want to can Day, is a massive mark against Ohio State
That’s clearly been my main point throughout yet you don’t address it in this whole “continuously repeating something completely irrational” missive,
Someone else st least addressed it and said that ND had the Northern Illinois loss.
you’re arguing with ghosts to prop up Ohio State
I addressed it a long time ago – the NCAA clearly decided that one game can't sink a team's season anymore. You're beating a dead horse with an asinine simplistic argument that doesn't make any sense. Enjoy your win Michigan while Ohio State enjoys playing for a national championship.Ok bud.

I posted this already but they ABSOLUTELY deserved to make it in a 12 team playoff.Wait, so you're arguing that they shouldn't have been in the playoffs? I'm not computing. They literally steamrolled through every team so far. Do you make this same argument in the NFL when an 8 seed wins the SB?
"Not right, not right, not riiight." ~ Matthew McConaughey, probably.2 straight years inside the 12 yard line
GODDAMN IT
Dude, I don’t give two shits about Michigan. Didn’t graduate from there; don’t care at all about what they do.I addressed it a long time ago – the NCAA clearly decided that one game can't sink a team's season anymore. Yeah that’s a take. OSU is proving exactly why a playoff was needed. There’s no doubt this team deserves to be where they are and why they are double digit favorites in the CG.Ok bud.

Why does this prove they need a playoff? I am legitimately asking. So talent in the end wins out despite losing to an inferior rival?Yeah that’s a take. OSU is proving exactly why a playoff was needed. There’s no doubt this team deserves to be where they are and why they are double digit favorites in the CG.
So if Northern Illinois was Notre Dame's #1 rival, the Irish should have missed the playoffs, got it.Dude, I don’t give two shits about Michigan. Didn’t graduate from there; don’t care at all about what they do.
But you are obviously a massive OSU fan. Dont think your post accomplished what you think it did
I think it’s more that their opponent is a double digit underdogYeah that’s a take. OSU is proving exactly why a playoff was needed. There’s no doubt this team deserves to be where they are and why they are double digit favorites in the CG.
Exactly what I said, nailed it.So if Northern Illinois was Notre Dame's #1 rival, the Irish should have missed the playoffs, got it.
