Worcester should have a rotation filled with interesting starting pitchers next year: Fitts, Priester, Dobbins, maybe Penrod if they want to have him start again. Wikelman and Isaac Coffey could be in the rotation, but they seem less likely to help the big club as starters next year. Maybe Chris Murphy and/or Drohan? There's Mata, but if he's in the org I think they'd be better off using him in relief.

I don't think Criswell will have any options left so he probably won't be there, but still that's more AAA rotation depth than they've had in a while.

I remember the halcyon days of 2016 when the recently drafted Mata and Anderson Espinoza were the crown jewels of pitching in our low minors, and some lanky lefty pitcher with a killer changeup whose name I can't recall was about to get called up to the big club. TINSTAAP and all that.

Edit: Henry Owens!
Edit2: Espinoza is still just 26... He last pitched in 2023 AAA for SDP, 132 innings with an xFIP of 5.93. I take it back! He was signed by the Orix Buffalo's and, according to Wiki, he was a NPB all-star this year!!
Edit3: This year, for Orix, Anderson threw 128 innings with a 2.59 ERA! 110 k. He even threw a complete game!! Sign him up, Breslow!!!
Edit4: Nice article about Anderson's baseball experience in Japan this year.
