Ground Zero
3. Junior Caminero, 3B
18. Carson Williams, SS
42. Curtis Mead, 3B/2B
60. Xavier Isaac, 1B

Wander who? Keep the line moving.

When Wander gets banned from the country, maybe Junior can slide into that contract.

If y'all have Caminero and you're done with Paredes, send him over this way won't you?

TBF, the Dodgers payroll is also closer to the GDP of Micronesia than it is to the Sox's.

Caminero sent down, that seems unexpectedly early especially with the new rule about teams getting a 1st round pick for a ROY who is on the MLB roster from Opening Day. What’s the story, @VORP Speed ?

And they’re pretty set at 3rd base between Paredes and Yandy so I don’t think there’s any obvious need to rush him and they rather him play every day in Durham and force his way up. At minimum, they get him past the Super Two deadline.

Bradley heading for an MRI for a possible pectoral injury. Seems like this may be a real retrenching year for Rays, with Franco gone, and Springs, McClanhan and Rasmussen on the shelf.

Here is the rundown on the expected returns of the TJ brigade:

Baz—May/June
Springs—July/August
Rasmussen—August/September
McClanahan—2025

24-6 start last year, 14-16 currently. TB should have a lot of reinforcements coming, guys coming back from injury and prospects both. We’ll see how well they can stay afloat until then.

Caminero hit a new career exit velocity high in AAA tonight though, I think 117+.

When do the Rays cut bait on Jose Siri? Seems to be killing them offensively and defensively and LeDuca can slide into center maybe?

I was going to post about TB getting guys back and quietly making a run at a wild card but then I looked at their remaining schedule and it is pretty relentless.

Their schedule is brutal. They’ve been playing pretty well, though, and the pitching is getting dialed in. Crazier things have happened but not really holding out too much hope.

Just focusing on Opening Day 2028!

It took awhile with a few injuries this year, but Junior Caminero is finally coming on down. Kid is a stud. Imagine him and Wander being the left side of your infield for the next decade? I guess just Junior will have to do.

What makes this "heartbreaking"? There is a ton of heartbreaking stuff with regard to the storms. This is probably at the very bottom of that list.

I believe the Trop was supposed to be an important staging area as part of the emergency response, so that's not happening now. I wonder if the structure was built with a rating, as in should be able to come through a Cat 3 storm intact?

I've read it was rated for winds up to 110 and other places say 115. Apparently most people were moved out of there before the storm hit.
