Can we get through nearly two full rounds in the next three days?

With 40+ guys on LIV now we are scraping the bottom of the barrel in these last two rounds.
What does LIV have to do with anything? The 125 is still the 125 and we're scraping the bottom of the barrel this time of the draft regardless looking for diamonds in the rough. Old names will be replaced with new names, it's just we're not familiar with more of the new names than previously.

There's also room, now, for guys that were the second tier to step into those top spots. Also, more than half of those LIV players are either has-beens or DWT players. Who cares.

I don't really agree but that is okay. I think we are choosing a lower tier of golfers in rounds 7-8 than ever before, and that is because there are 20-30 players that are not being drafted due to being on LIV. The last of the 125 - say the last 25 to get their cards, are the worst 25 ever to get their cards due to the split tours.

I don't think LIV makes much difference. The back half of the draft there is like no difference between player 102 and player 152.

Yeah 3-5 guys will break out from that group and be top 75, maybe even a top 50, but trying to figure out which one it might be is almost impossible

So what's our plan when we don't finish in the next 48 hours?

Whatever you guys want to do, but seems like we could go to a 1 or 2 hour clock and finish this thing. Understood schedules get in the way, but presumably everyone is checking this occasionally at this point to finish.

Agree with this, 1 hour clock, and if you get skipped, you pick when available.

Didn't someone a few years ago calculate the average time to make a pick? We should do that again. Public shaming is almost always a good stick!

Nothing like skipping the commissioners pick by instituting a rule without him weighing in, lol.

(I don’t disagree with the rule change, but maybe we get agreement before just skipping people?)
