The last, and maybe only time, I watched the Draft with any real interest, during COVID when Nike made a great pick. And that was mostly because I had nothing else to do.

Not trying to be a dick but when you’re 7th in the league in receiving yards, you’re pretty clearly a #1WR that season. You don’t have to be a top 3 guy to earn that moniker.

Guys aren't numbers 1s until they are. Diggs' Vikings numbers are comparable to Aiyuk in SF. Iirc Aiyuk has some elite analytics. I would be absolutely stoked if he was the Pats #1 for the foreseeable future.
