Is there just less coverage of AO this year on ESPN/ESPN2? They're putting more on ESPN+? Not even throwing a bone to ESPN3?

Looks like more of the coverage going on ESPN+ than previous years. ESPN2 starts at 9 PM until the day coverage (Australia time) concludes. Rest of the coverage on ESPN+ at least during the first two rounds.
I feel like I’d also be able to wake up around 630 eastern and watch it live on espn 2 if there were still matches on? With so much on espn + it actually makes me want to avoid the app more out of spite.
But will espn 2 be airing tennis or the Keyshawn show?

Volynets is a qualifier who has never played a top 10 player before, she lost 2 games in a row to bring it back to 3-2 but then bounced back very strongly and won the next 2, 5-2 now. Kudermetova with some terrible plays to lose her serve just now, a long hard-fought game, four deuces, then she double faulted and hit an easy sitter at the net into the net.
Usually I think they stick with matches if they're showing them, Patrick McEnroe tweeted yesterday they'd be on until at least 5 AM every night, but then last night they weren't, despite the high profile Coco/Raducanu match, so dunno.
Fritz has a favorable draw with Zverev not close to 100%. Best opponent he could meet in the Quarters is Ruud. Good chance to reach the semis.

Brooksby finishes it off 6-2 in the 4th, great win although Ruud was very unimpressive.
Fritz in trouble against Aussie Popyrin, no breaks either way for two sets. Fritz won the first breaker but Popyrin came alive in the second set breaker, won that easily, finally got a break in the 3rd and is up 4-2.

3rd year in a row Ruud has had a horrific time with injuries down Under.
First time two Americans have defeated the top two seeds since the 94 French Open.

And then gets hammered in the 5th, 6-2. He only had two break points the entire five sets, 1-2, Popyrin went 4-11.
I hate being this annoyed before 7am. Eff you espn. Brutal loss for Fritz given how the draw was set up for him.
The four highest remaining seeds in the bottom quarter all lost yesterday (#2 Ruud, #8 Fritz, #12 Zverev, #23 Schwartzman) so #24 Bautista Agut is the only seed left there, along with five unseeded Americans, Popyrin and the winner of Murray/Kokkinakis (Kokkinakis serving for the 1st set now up 5-4).
Murray wins the 3rd set tiebreaker at 1:48 AM local time. 3 hours and 30 minutes to play 3 sets.
35 minutes to play the first 3 games of the 4th, long points and many deuces. They said people are waiting to get back in even though it's 2:30 AM there, and they had to stand outside for the whole 35 minutes until there was a changeover.
I've always said it's easier for me to understand and digest tennis compared to other sports because I played at a high enough level that I know what it takes to hit the shots these guys are capable of. I can't replicate it, but I understand it (as opposed to say, putting an iron from 200 yards out into a 10 foot radius around the hole).
That said, I legit can't comprehend what these guys are going through physically. It's beyond my scope.
