The last three games of ST:
Saturday, March 25, 1 p.m. at Tampa Bay (NESN+/NESN 360)
Sunday, March 26, 1 p.m. vs. Minnesota (NESN/NESN 360)
Tuesday, March 28, 1 p.m. vs. Atlanta (NESN/NESN 360)
My husband thought he saw somewhere that some season games would be broadcast on N-360. I hope that means also, not exclusively, b/c I have never been able to get it to work.

I can't see any reason they'd put games exclusively on NESN360. The spring games they put there were productions from the opposing team's outlet and contractually, they probably weren't allowed to air on either NESN cable channel. Considering the only regular season games they don't cover themselves are national broadcasts (Fox and ESPN) that cable subscribers and cord-cutters alike can get access to, there's no excuse for not putting all the games on cable.

I hope you are right, but the Apple games that mlb introduced last year had no other way of watching them. Of course, NESN is in a different position. (I know I could have watched the Apple games online, but I didn't fancy giving them my info.)

NESN would be cutting their nose off to spite their face if they moved any of their game broadcasts off cable. They'll never do it.

Apple is a different thing and entirely outside NESN's control.

He looked like he was really, really laboring out there after about his 10th pitch. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
So I'm just now watching the replay on NESN plus and I have to say that you're correct about the point where Jansen started laboring. Looked pretty good through 8-9 pitches and then things went south. I also noticed that he was sweating pretty heavily. I've no idea how humid it was in Fort Meyers last night, but a quick check of the temp shows that it was about 76 degrees.

According to Middlebrooks, they're "a lot of fans dressed like seats out there" where Valdez hit his 2-run homer. They made much of Rafaela's pedigree, but didn't say anything about Valdez. Is he a member of the Red Sox at any level?
Top 20ish prospect I think. Hit over 20 HR the past 2 seasons in the minors. Needs some plate discipline, not a great defender IIRC. Sems to have had a decent spring the few times I've seen him.

I looked him up, and I still don't know: https://www.mlb.com/player/enmanuel-valdez-665839?stats=career-r-hitting-minors&year=2023
I'm excited about Enmanuel, FWIW. The bat appears reliable, but he might be positionless under the new rules, which place more of a premium on 2B defense. But I imagine we'll see him in Boston on and off during his optionable years, and maybe he's a fit as a DH/2B/LF post-Turner. He's certainly valuable as multi-positional depth at 2B/3B/DH/LF.

I hate the stupid shaky center field camera. I've tried to watch a few games when I've been able to catch them and it just distracts me so much I can't watch.

I wonder who the lunatic is who is yelling nonstop in the background? Yikes, glad I am not anywhere near them.

And Sale gives up a 2-run blast. Probably a bit wind-aided, just over the wall.

Those Twins unis are dreadful, especially the logo on the helmet.
I was just telling my husband that I don't understand this interest in uniforms. I never notice them at all.
Anyway, neither Sale nor Verdugo has covered himself in glory today. I am trying not to fret about our rotation and I don't find Verdugo all that impressive.
