We're likely going to have to wait a bit longer for his arrival, but yes the more the merrier.

Edit: I'm not as down on Dave O'Brien as many here are, but I wouldn't mind seeing a young Mike Monaco on the PBP and Middlebrooks getting more run as this new era begins. Does anyone have any idea as to how long OB's contract runs? I haven't been able to find anything.

Dermody with 2 scoreless innings in the other game. He has looked spectacular this spring.

So far he has been very impressive. 6 foot 5 dude.

Very much looking forward to a roster featuring Devers, Mayer, Rafaela, Casas, Bello, Mata, Houk and Whitlock

Brandon Walter as well. Same category as Mata and Chris Murphy. Brandon Walter from what I seen rarely walks people. The Red Sox future looks bright.

How do they define "major leaguer" in this context? Because Valdez, Rafaela, and Hamilton are all on the 40-man roster so technically they could be considered major leaguers even though none of them have any service time yet.

It's a spring training thing only. The Sox did it with Pivetta the other day. They don't want guys throwing too many pitches in one inning, so they pull them to finish the inning, then send them back out to finish getting their work in.

They both look good, but need seasoning in the minors. Also a shout out to Matthew Lugo. I have been impressed with him in spring training. Good athlete.
