Fewer Rays games is a godsend for Fenway fans but I think I’ll be going to all the april games at the Juice.
But I kind of like these Os and BJ teams if I was a neutral fan

Fun watching guys like Mountcastle and Vlad. And seeing JBJ never gets old especially if can’t get hits if he’s the opponent

No off day during 10 game road trip to Washington, New York and Houston 8/15-24.
That entire stretch is f'd. After the Houston series, they fly home for games against the Dodgers and Astros (good luck), before an off day and then series in KC and Tampa ... 22 games in 23 days in 6 different cities

Why do they do Cubs-Oakland road trip, 5 games at home, then more west coast games. Jet lag galore.

Away series @Cubs/Pads/Giants are definitely in play for me

My wife's family pretty much all live in Chicago burbs' and I have yet to go to Wrigley. That is probably the one we'll for sure go to. Happy about the weekend options for the Pads and Giants series. Not so much for Seattle during the week, but I'm tired of going to games there because that place is a house of horrors whenever the Sox play there.

Horrible schedule. 3 west coast trips? Cmon!
It's the future. From now on 3 maybe 4 trips to the West Coast. To put into perspective, The Dodgers have 5 trips to the East Coast next year, (this year they had 3).

Looking at the Toronto series in early August for our first trip to Fenway. Oldest is graduating High School this year and he wants to go

Everyone probably has a stretch like this right? The downside of less division games and more travel to different cities. Going forward they might need to consider starting the season a little earlier or ending a little later (or shorten the season a bit, but we know that won't happen) to get some more rest days in there.

Why on earth would there be 4 trips when the most series you'd ever have on the West Coast is what you are going to have in 2023, which is 6??? That would mean going there twice playing one team only, plus a pair of trips where you play two.

In 2024 and every other year thereafter, you're only playing 4 west coast teams (3 AL and the Dodgers), I don't think anyone's throwing Denver into that mix.

I was thinking more as Arizona as the 7th team, but your point is taken. It most likely will be 3 scheduled trips to the West Coast, sorry Pacific Time Zone.

I'm going to be on the other side and say I hate this schedule. They're starting at home in March again, which is completely ridiculous weather-wise. The season needs to be a week shorter to include the extra round of playoffs every year. And all the extra games outside the division just mean more 8pm and 10pm start times on TV. Hopefully the pitch clock makes them more manageable to watch until the end.

They're also throwing in a couple of "bonus" trips to Europe as well, right?

One year the schedule could have really killed them, if the team was any good, was 2019. Turned out it didn't matter but there were some awful roadblocks thrown up.

I forgot about the Europe trip. Cardinals and Cubs this year, so that's going to continue.
