As I understand, @johnmd20 is dropping out but @kenneycb has asked to step in. Other than that I'm not aware of anyone else needing to drop. If so please speak up. I also understand that anyone that was able to rolled over last years winnings but I'm not as clear on that. I'll let @TFP chime in on who owes what. As soon as we are good on the finances we can get the draft thread rolling.

Here is the schedule. There are a few changes this year but nothing too major. The WGC in Mexico and the Northern Trust are out, they are replaced on our schedule by The Mexico and Scottish Opens. Both are PGA Tour events with fedex cup points and in the case of the Scottish Open, co sanctioned by the PGA Tour and European Tour.

The Tour Championship winner aka the Fed Ex Cup winner is its own prize. That tournament is not included in year end standings.

Without @johnmd20 and his gracious donation last year the payouts will need to change a bit. Let me know if the below works.

$150x20= $3,000 up for grabs.

26 non major tournaments is $50 per winner = $1300
Majors (plus Players) will be $100 each = $500
- Fedex Cup Champ - $50
- Most missed cuts - $25
- End of season standings
--1st Place - $500
-- 2nd Place - $250
-- 3rd Place - $175
--4th place - $100
--5th place - $50
--Last place - $50

Scoring. Nothing will change unless someone strongly objects.

Stroke Play Scoring:
Winner - 15
Playoff Loser - 12
2nd (plus ties) - 10
3rd-5th (plus ties) - 7
6th-10th (plus ties) - 5
11th-25th (plus ties) - 3
25th-cut line (including MDF) - 1

Match Play Scoring:

The 2022 spreadsheet has the accurate numbers owed for this year in the "Amount Owed for 2023" column at the end of the Standings tab.

If anyone drops out, I'd love to be considered as a fill in.

The new guys have paid and I've kept the spreadsheet updated with the others who have paid as well.

I do think it'll be interesting this year with LIV in the fold - how will people potentially leaving affect people's draft decisions? We have the add/drop periods still so I don't think we need to change anything in the rules, but I'm curious what the draft looks like this year.

$ sent.

Personally, I feel like the LIV/PGA Tour situation is somewhat stable at this point LIV has over 70 guys in their lineup for 48 spots per tournament. I'm sure they'd open their arms for the top 20-25 players on the PGA Tour but at this point everyone in that category seems firmly entrenched for the Tour. If one goes, then I guess the floodgates open but I'm not sure there's a way to prepare for that.

I'm definitely interested in where some of the LIV guys get drafted though. How soon is too soon for Cam Smith who is arguably the best player in the world but only eligible for 4 of our events (maybe 5 but I'm operating under the assumption that the Tour won't let him play the Players).

TFP, I need paypal and the amount I owe (I looked over the spreadsheet and can't find it). Looking forward to donating again. God, my team sucks every year.

We should probably start drafting this week or early next week. Looking at last years draft, we started on 12/15 and wrapped it up on 1/6. The Sony starts 1/16 so we have plenty of time but should probably start sooner rather than later to give people enough time.

I know it's a burden on the organizers, I'll offer up any assistance I can provide.

Just paid. That was the worst year I’ve ever had.

as far as drafting I’m down for whenever.
@Vegas Sox Fan and @cshea both offered help with it so not sure if you guys just want to handle it over the next few nights and we can start drafting this weekend.

As a newbie, is there a quick rundown of the rules, namely around players? I know there’s a draft and add / drop period but want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

8-round snake draft. No rules surrounding players, you can pick whomever you like. The add/drop periods are the only time you can make any roster changes. Therefor, if a guy goes to LIV you are stuck with him until the next add / drop.

Edit; and no trades
