I agree with this.

Someone talk me out of picking Marquette and UCONN in the final four.
UConn has poor guard play and below average coaching and an inability to win close games. I’d love to see UConn coming out of this region but I don’t see it. I’d be happy if they just found a way to make it to the second weekend.

My favorite betting event of the year, and also my dumbest one since it’s the only college basketball I watch all year.

Instead of who?

NC State maybe?
Yea, maybe them. I just think playing in the (by far( best conference should help with all those wins they had. It’s not absolutely egregious, just a nitpick.

The reasoning for Rutgers not being selected for an injury makes no sense. Houston is missing a major key player and they were not dinged. Tennessee had no PG and want dinged.

The two games I’m most interested in (Princeton Az and Hogs) at roughly the same time

I’m 100% biased but Nc State wasn’t better than UNC
(And Ok State is def more deserving than UNC)

Jay Bilas has UConn cutting the nets down. Most ESPN guys on the show have them going to the FF or E8.
UConn has a totally legit chance, but I could also see them getting bounced fairly early. They sometimes struggle for odd reasons, but yeah, they also could win the whole thing.

If they play like they did in the second half against Providence they're subject to get bounced really early! They looked good against Marquette but Jackson got into foul trouble and Hawkins and Newton got overwhelmed by Marquette's D. Still a great game though.

When they've got it going, they are so much fun to watch and I don't think anyone would look forward to playing them.

For about 25 minutes on Thursday, the whole college basketball viewing world will have its eyes on Maryland vs. West Virginia, called by the #1 broadcast team. A pretty decent regional non-conference rivalry.
