Jimmy gets too much attention for what they are doing. They simply do not go on scoring droughts because they hit a 3 every 3rd possession. It's really hard to go on a run against them. They pass fast, they transition fast, they take very quick shots, and all of that negates any defensive player who takes more than 1 second to figure out where to stand.
They're a smart (pun intended), well-coached team. Wish the Celtics were.
Spo's TO down 5 with 3:30 left was so smart. Critical point in the game and he designs an easy shot.
Was he injured? He threw his head back trying to draw a call. Then he didn't get it. Then fell and grabbed his hamstring. Then limped on D and up the court like he had a twisted ankle.
Refs miss at least three 8 second violations every game. That one on the Knicks wasn't even especially close
The Heat were up 3-1 and on the road.
The Celtics were tied 2-2 and at home.

Like SVG saying that the refs are once again allowing Draymond to get away with things that other players wouldn't.

am I the only one who hates this trend of wearing away color jerseys at home and vice versa? Watching the Lakers play at Golden State with the gold jerseys just seems wrong. Much like seeing the Celtics wear green at home seems wrong.
This is maybe the strangest I’ve ever felt watching a basketball series. When I was a kid, I straight rooted for the Pistons against the Lakers without even thinking about it. I think I want the Warriors to win this but I won’t be hurt if they lose.
I would be more precise and say that he is insane pretty much on the regular. His greatness has been so fun to behold excepting last season when it was the worst thing in the entire universe.
Or maybe they extend the lead and the Lakers go into conserve energy mode? Lol.
Certainly seems that way. Seemed like a glancing blow from Looney, but he definitely was acting concussed on the bench.
How many has he had in the past? Quick googling headlines suggests at least 3? He might be particularly sensitive at this point
Ya, me too. Only because I think the Celts can beat the Lakers. And they can't beat Steph.
However, if the Celts get eliminated, I'm back on the Laker hate wagon.
I think i speak for the overwhelming majority of this board: it's always better when LAL looses. Even under extenuating circumstances of GSW advancing.

We discussed this at length before: the 8 second violation happens when the clock turns to 15, not 16. It's not complicated: turning to 16 means 16.9 seconds, while turning to 15 means 15.9 seconds (i.e. a violation).
To convince yourself at this, watch when the ball is inbounded. The clock is at 24, and then turns to 23 as soon as the operator hits the button (because now it's 23.9 seconds).
(I didn't see the Knicks' one, which may well have been the clock turning to 15.)
