Lebron has the better all star team, but Giannis/Tatum would be a crazy offensive and defensive tandem in a real game.
Jokic is not made for the all star game. You want shooters and guys that get up the court.
Also, I would not be surprised if he doesn’t care at all about the game and is happy to play 15 minutes.

If this was a battle for the NBA championship, it’s a completely different story than it being an all star game. LJ’s team would crush Giannis’ team inside.

Honestly it was the smart move - once Embiid goes, there was no way Lebron would take Jokic anytime soon, except over Lauri.
He doesn’t shoot many threes and they are not going to throw it into the post all game.
He has played 4 all star games before and averaged 16 mi utes and 7 points. He doesn’t care.
Yeah that was a lot more fun than I thought it would be (the highlight was either Giannis picking Morant as a reserve, or Jokic picking himself). I doubt the coaching staffs enjoy it this way though, I know it's just an all-star game but I imagine they would still like more than 15 minutes to create a rotation.
I’m actually wondering when they’re going to do some warmups. Must be doing it in the locker rooms or in the tunnel?
