He loves that they play at Trump courses. Why would anyone who isn’t getting millions of dollars from them be pro-LIV? Did the PGA wrong them?
Absolutely! The mental toll it takes to perform at the level these players do for four straight days (add in the weather challenges this weekend too) and it most assuredly is exhausting. Hell, I coach at a high school level and it is exhausting to match up against our closest rivals...I cannot imagine how it would feel to play on this stage. It's still a massive amount of walking. Hills, distance, and many many many hours. Rahm and Koepka have been walking hills today for 8-9 hours. While playing golf in a pressure packed tournament.
It's significant and it takes its toll.
30 holes today for these guys, too.Absolutely! Not flat, though, by any meansHow much walking are we talking about for 30 holes? Like 7-8 miles?
Is that who's slowed things down?Cantlay really dragging this thing out for everyone. Koepka and Hovland have both looked pretty pissed.
No I didn’t mean to imply it was easy just wanted to understand the approximate distanceNot flat, though, by any means
All fucking afternoon. I’m pro team pissed.Cantlay really dragging this thing out for everyone. Koepka and Hovland have both looked pretty pissed.
Very much yes.Is that who's slowed things down?
Me too. Slow play is brutal for everyone. All fucking afternoon. I’m pro team pissed.
Waiting on Cantlay every shot certainly doesn't help. It's still a massive amount of walking. Hills, distance, and many many many hours. Rahm and Koepka have been walking hills today for 8-9 hours. While playing golf in a pressure packed tournament.

Well, I guess he ended up figuratively hitting an 8 iron.Wtf was that shot Rahm. Just hit an 8 iron. You have a 4 shot lead.
"Masters marathon" was pretty accurate, thoughJim mailed that finishing statement in.
Yeah I just think Rahm's superlative performance as opposed to the length of play today deserved to be the punchline."Masters marathon" was pretty accurate, though
As is second cut. There is no rough at Augusta"Patrons" is another drinking game
People build up identities around the weirdest shit. Why would anyone who isn’t getting millions of dollars from them be pro-LIV? Did the PGA wrong them?
Yes, he did. It was basically in the middle, short of the fairway after it bounced back out.Did Rahm find his tee shot? I got a little confused there because I thought he played the provisional but then the score wouldn’t make sense.
Thanks. I wasn’t locked in to the broadcast so I guess I missed them say it.Yes, he did. It was basically in the middle, short of the fairway after it bounced back out.
So best LIV guy is a 52yr old who.hasnt finished in the top 30 in any LIV tournaments?LIV guys T2, T2, T4.
I do sort of wonder if some of these guys miss being in a truly competitive situation. So best LIV guy is a 52yr old who.hasnt finished in the top 30 in any LIV tournaments?
Koepka said in his post-round interview that he expects to play in the "other three" majors. I know he's a past champion, but does he really think he's going to be in the PGA?I do sort of wonder if some of these guys miss being in a truly competitive situation.
