Karl Ravech botching the call on the ”walk off” by Oral Roberts in the top of the 9th was pretty funny.
These are two really good teamsGoddamn, LSU has some good arms.
I'd enjoy watching these games a lot more if they missed their flight. All of the other announcers have been far better than Ravech in particular. No travel day for Karl and Ed either
Impressive
that’s like a 4 hour flight
Rhode Island has kind of taken a step back in recent seasons but will be joining the Northeast baseball facility arms race, so hopefully will be back in this conversation again. We'll be doing a $10.3 million renovation of Bill Beck Field as part of an $82.3 million campaign to replace or renovate a large amount of our athletic facilities. There's just not much in terms of P5 programs in the Northeast so they should be able to do well. Rutgers was terrible for a while until last year despite all the talent that is in NJ. BC should be able to keep the local talent home because of that. Some will undoubtedly go south to premier programs if they're that good. My area on Long Island has produced a good amount of big P5 talent lately(kids at Miami, Clemson, South Carolina, UNC, Wake off the top of my head) but the mid-majors find enough talent to be good as well. Same for programs like Bryant and Northeastern in New England.
That's great to hear. Is the money private or public?Rhode Island has kind of taken a step back in recent seasons but will be joining the Northeast baseball facility arms race, so hopefully will be back in this conversation again. 80% was just approved by the state of RI, 20% will need to be privately raised. A $42 million renovation of the football stadium and $12.1 million replacement of the outdoor track will be the first two projects completed. Will also be doing $7.3 million in improvements to our softball field, $6.2 million in pool repairs, and $4.4 million in soccer field improvements. That's great to hear. Wow that's great. I remember the football stadium when it had wood bleachers on our side of the field(visitors side) and no lights. Very surprised that 80% of the project is coming through state funds.80% was just approved by the state of RI, 20% will need to be privately raised. Whoever has played as the home team less gets it. LSU has played four games, 2 as home and 2 as away. Wake played 2 games as the home team and 1 as the away team.Wake crushing the ball, all at LSU fielders
LSU contact bot so sturdy.
So why is Wake the away team?
Why?I’m rooting for LSU more than I’ve rooted for a non-Sox affiliated team in a really long time.
And UF has the #1 most fun player in college baseball….JactaniLTF’s oldest went there for his post-grad and we’ve been talking about following college baseball for awhile. With his son there and a few of their epic players it was just a perfect storm for following them.
Skenes and Crews may be two of those most fun players to watch in organized baseball anywhere.
You really think he hasn't?This new LSU pitcher looks like he should be working the pot at a crawfish boil
That was insane. Guidry hung that pitch badly though. And then a grand slam off what appeared to be a pop up. It just carried and carried and carried.
