That’s fair. Especially with the news that multiple starters will be on pitch counts / innings limits, that could increase the chances for a potential long man like Crawford / Winckowski at the expense of someone like Mills.

The 9th is probably Crawford, who should probably be given a spot over Brasier, if he replicates his 2022 campaign.

One more bullpen spot is up for grabs. It will go to Kaleb Ort, Oddanier Mosqueda or Ryan Sherriff.

Hmm, guess I miscounted, didn’t realize they had one more spot up for grabs. Now I have no clue how they are getting Tapia, never mind Alfaro, on the 40, since it seems like Ort’s spot will be taken by him or one of the other non roster pitchers.

Yeah, Joely's injury handcuffs them a bit, but I think trading Dalbec, getting rid of Ort & letting Alfaro walk if he wants to, while elevating Tapia + Sherriff makes the most sense.

Unless they have an injury or 2 which warrant 60-day list.

Unless they make a trade, the candidates are Sherriff or Mosqueda. Or, Ort. None are really compelling options.

Wonder if they’d have any interest in swinging a deal to bring Josh Taylor back. Probably not.

Kansas City optioned Taylor to Omaha yesterday...

If Taylor can't make the cut on a team that has a major league bar of JBJ, I'm pretty sure we don't want him back.
