This halftime show is about a billion times better than the abomination ESPN roles out for NBA games.

I’ll confess, my niece attends LSU and so I am rooting for them.

I have huge respect for Clark and her team…but shit like that LA Times article really, really digs at me.
Same, it’s infuriating.
And boom goes Caitlin!

LSU getting tired and "physical defense" is turning into lazy fouls.

Flau'jae Johnson is their only effective player on either end right now for LSU.

I really like O'Grady. She is working her ass off on both ends doing a lot of the dirty work.

Reese has not been the same since she got hurt.

Feels like Clark has to score or assist every bucket for Iowa from here on out for them to win... But she might be able to do it.

Flau'jae Johnson has been outstanding.

Came to say the same. She was the 3rd iowa C to play. Hasnt come out since she went in. Stiff defense without a foul. Reese is diminished, but i think o'grady has made it tough.

Does LSU have 4 of the best 5 players on the court? Johnson, Reese, Morrow... Van Lith? OK, maybe it's just 3 of the best 4, but still, point is that Clark's teammates are "fine basketball players" but none will get even a sniff of the WNBA. They can run a college offense well enough to give their star a chance to shine, but they're a .500 team without Clark.

@benhogan would call her a "prototypical BEEF center". Mitchell Robinson vibes: can rebound, play stout D with enough strength to never get bullied around, and not embarrass herself around the rim, but most importantly - doesn't try to do more than that.

...Is that 3 throwaways for Van Lith? Man what an absolute hash LSU has made of this third quarter.

LONG way to go in this game. LSU can be tough in the 4th. When they get desperate they get even more physical.

Van Lith trying to navigate ball screens on every defensive possession has definitely sapped her offense

EDIT: yup, here’s the adjustment

Second jump call I don’t understand
O'Grady took forever once she got it cleanly, just didn't find a teammate with it, while sitting there. After a few seconds you can bet an LSU player is going to get her hand on that ball, no?

wait are you saying no LSU player touched it? Maybe I need a replay.

Meh call on Reese. But only cause they missed the earlier LSU foul on the same play.
