Imagine what one of the top teams would have done against them today. It's one thing to look below-average against Buffalo or Cincy, but Miami? Ugh!
Or a blessing in disguiseWell, that might be a reason to panic.
Line them up for first overall in the draft next year? Because that’s probably where they’re going with Brian Hoyer as the QB.Or a blessing in disguise
Correct. Or see what they have in ZappeLine them up for first overall in the draft next year? Because that’s probably where they’re going with Brian Hoyer as the QB.
This is pretty spot on for me. I am hopeful the Pats have an entertaining year with more progress from Mac. Then I hope they nail the draft and spend some money on some playmakers.Hardly any playmakers on either side of the ball. Was under the impression that having a decent enough QB on a rookie contact would allow the team to spend on talent elsewhere….but you look at this roster and where they are spending money and it’s pretty ugly.
add in some bizarre drafts and organizational hires and here we are.

I mean Zappe is a good story and has a huge following from his play in college. But please correct if I am wrong, but I thought his arm was even weaker than Mac's coming out of the draft. Here is just one report basically saying that.Correct. Or see what they have in Zappe
Too soon?At least there will be four AFC teams with ties on their records….
I think we were anyway. Not enough talent on the team and Mac isn't a difference maker yet.If Mac is hurt for any amount of time, we might be playing for the first overall pick.
There is no way some of you watched the preseason. I thought he looked awful, which is fine for a rookie, but there is no way you want that guy in real NFL games with a crap lineAnd that is how the story of the greatest quarterback of all time, Bailey Zappe, began
They will rename it the Hall of ZappeThere is no way some of you watched the preseason. I thought he looked awful, which is fine for a rookie, but there is no way you want that guy in real NFL games with a crap line

They hate their coach. Kraft sees this and will take action. But will Kraft do what Jerry Jones did?
