I think Charlie and Marchand were also on that trip at some point. I'll take em all! (except not Lucic and Krug's contracts)
Looch is in the last year of his deal and only owed $1 million in actual salary. Nostalgia gets the best of me, I still miss the big fella. Let's see...Foligno for Lucic 50% retained!?!

Who wouldn’t? I think the realities of Lucic’s deal and all make him good value moving forward. (At 1M/yr, not 2 or 3) Maybe at the deadline.

Still no action on Bergy and Krejci as we hit August. They looked happy at the Rask wedding, so I'm assume they are done but the Bruins are trying to sequence things and get other business done first. There is a pressure point next week with Zacha, his arb hearing is 8/11. They either get a deal done before then (and reports from Zacha's agent have been that it's close if not done) or accept the arb ruling. There's also the Pasta extension which the FO said they would be aggressively pursuing. I kinda wonder if that's what's holding back putting the finishing touches on Bergy and Krejci. Since they will have to go the bonus route with 37 and 46 this year, they'll need to take into account the overages that'll be charged on the 23/24 cap. In order to better plan, they probably need to know what Pasta's number looks like for that season.

It's unusual for this FO to have this much business to spill over this late into the offseason, but we'll see how it shakes out.

Another sneaky problem for working in overages for 2023-24 is Swayman is due for his first extension, as is Frederic (him, I'm less worried about for the time being).

Back half of that deal is gonna be very ugly, but gotta give Treliving credit for steering losing Gaudreau / Tkachuk into as small a relative speedbump as you could ask for
