I don't know what the charts say but this trade seems like an absolute steal for TB
I'm not so sure esp this year where that 6th is basically a UDFA. Plus you lose a year of control dropping from 1st to 2nd rd. Is that worth a high 4th and 6th in this years draft? Doesn't seem like a steal to me.

I'd be happiest with one of Booth/Hill/Jones if they stay at 29. It looks like there should still be some interesting LB options available in the 2nd.

I live in Detroit and the City is hosting the 2024 NFL Draft. How the fuck does Motown compete with the glitz of Lost Wages? I'm confident it will be a sterling production, but not on this scale.
There’s a ton of shit to do in Vegas within 100 yards of this place, and it’s still pretty jammed. I don’t think scale will be a problem with Detroit.

See it being discussed, so was curious and took a look…the draft chart I just found has this JAX/TB virtually even….to be specific 0.2 in favor of the Jags.

I hate to lurch into this crowd, but I kinda hope there is a payoff for sticking around for 3 hours with the Pats making a pick here.

Do you trade back again? I might. But not sure if I'd have the stones to go all the way to the two Seattle picks.

Maybe #29 & later picks to TEN for #35 & #69?

Evan Lazar acting like Bill killed a puppy (‘I will try to be professional’). It must kinda suck when you crunch 10000 hours of tape then this happens, so I get it.

I liked him as a guy to target in the late 2nd or 3rd. I know nothing, but still. What's frustrating is that YOU CAN GET A LEGIT GUARD WAY LATER than this. Jesus.

With the 29th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Patriots select guard Cole Strange out of Chattanooga. I mocked him to the Patriots - in the third round, but it still counts.
Strange was one of the best athletic fits at guard for the Patriots in this draft. He started 42 games at left tackle, one at center and one at left tackle. He was also very good at the Senior Bowl. The Pats also went to his Pro Day.

I assume the guy can play. I also assume that they could have gotten him in the second round judging from the reaction here (which may not reflect reality).
