Somehow Chicago has tied up Milwaukee. I've had it on in the background after the Bucks looked like they were running away with it early. It's been a fun weekend of basketball other than a couple duds.

Honestly, the Bulls making this a series would be the surprise of the 1st round for me. Not even NO being competitive against the Suns would be a bigger shock.

Bulls need to run more of the offense through LaVine, even White, DeRozan is just getting swallowed up. He looks like early Raps playoff DeRozan.

I think the Bucks will let them make it a series of competitive games bc they take their foot off the gas a lot but as far as winning games competitive I’d be surprised. G3 in Chicago is their best shot to get a W but even then the half court matchups are awful for them.

Playoff DeRozan gamelogs look like something out of the 1960s... dude just hitting 35% from the field with regularity

DeRozan feels a bit overrated in this forum but the Bucks and even the Bulls were clamps in this game. All the Bulls scorers struggled. Lavine was 6-19 and Vuc went 9-27.

Chicago shot 32.3% from the field. That's some fall 2021 Boston Celtics offense right there!

So DeRozan in playoff games where his coach is NOT Gregg Popovich, is shooting .405 from the field on just under 1,000 attempts, he is shooting .231 from 3.

Why do playoff announcers egregiously exaggerate stuff? Today Reggie calls Brandon Ingram 6-10; yesterday an announcer called Anthony Edwards 6-7. Three inches off their official heights on both counts.

It would make sense if there was consistency with this as I’m pretty sure Ingram was listed as 6-10 at one point (not certain though)……but Edwards was 6-4 until a growth spurt last year so he could legit be 6-7 right now. Makes no sense why he’d use an old number for one guy and a new one for another.

Pelicans showing some grit here. Could have easily laid down and are actually making a game of it.

Sucks that the first dozen years of his career were wasted by the Hornets and Clippers

I'm already loving the start of this game. Toronto making a very large focus not to let Embiid push them around, instead, they are going to do the pushing.
