What makes him a bad human being? Not challenging you, genuinely curious since I haven't heard anything about Lowry.
He’s a dirty player and always has been. He once pulled down BC’s Sean Williams in the 2006 Sweet 16 game similar to what we saw tonight and the refs inexplicably called a travel on Williams.

Announcers love to wax poetic on Lowry by calling him tough and gritty or whatever. Nah, he’s just dirty. I can’t stand him.

(No, I’m not still bitter…)

He's actively tried to injure guys, every stop before TOR he was notorious for being an asshole that all his teammates and coaches hated, and was on his way out of the league. I remember there was a story that he went to some charity game, acted like an asshole to everyone, then threatened the female ref after the game...and was charged with battery:

That story is nuts but also completely believable given his demeanor on the court.

Phoenix on the verge of losing home court. McCollum and Nance add so much to this team! What a trade for the Pelicans.

Ingram just went all Jimmy Butler against the Suns. Now they believe they can win. Wow this is gonna be a fun postseason!

It's funny that during the Lakers rebuild, you look at the guys they drafted early (Randle, Russell, Ingram, Ball) and all those guys turned into pretty good pros but none of them ever really did anything with the Lakers.

Was talking about that with someone this weekend. Not terrible drafting at all, just a terrible environment. Of course three of those guys were drafted #2 overall, so it's not like they found diamonds in the rough.

The only one that played past their Age 21 season in LA was Randle and he had a big year with them his final year at age 23. They never had a chance to grow before they were part of the Davis deal with LeBron.

Inspired by the Dunc'd on guys (who incidentally had Jaylen Brown on their third team all NBA):
The Lakers had a -2.0 net rating without LeBron in 2020-2021. The Lakers had a -2.1 net rating with LeBron in 2021-2022. Does LeBron (player) + LeBron (GM) = 0? (To save you the trouble, AD played the same percentage of games each season, ~50%)

Is Scottie Barnes expected back at some point in this series?

I would love to get an explanation of what Toronto did with their last two possessions. To my (very uneducated) eyes, van Vleet rushed a three, then in position for a 2-for-1, they slow-played to the point of bleeding the full 24 seconds off the clock.

Is that coaching though? Seems like the call was get the ball to Embiid and then its up to Embiid to make something happen. Which is how a lot of teams operate in that situation.
sure but he's a center, you should be running plays to get him the ball deep, not Iso up top

Exactly. Defense was excellent with help coming. I would have liked to see a swing to Maxey where he could shoot the gap with his dribble for his floater.
