Higher floor than Chet? Defense is outstanding, not much beyond the rim offensively. Safer at 22 for sure than 2

I was pissed when he left UNC for PEarl though.
Really? His floor is a bench big, who is completely unplayable in postseason.

You can’t evaluate it in hindsight, but Derrick White for Blake Wesley has the potential to look really bad down the line.

Not bad return for the Knicks
I'll have to look up protections. DEN pick went to CHA to dump Kemba (with 2nds).

DET pick is: protected for selections 1-18 in 2023, 1-18 in 2024, 1-13 in 2025, 1-11 in 2026 and 1-9 in 2027; if Detroit has not conveyed a 1st round pick to by 2027, then Detroit will instead convey its 2027 2nd round pick

WAS pick is: protected for selections 1-14 in 2023, 1-12 in 2024, 1-10 in 2025 and 1-8 in 2026; if Washington has not conveyed a 1st round pick by 2026, then Washington will instead convey its 2026 2nd round pick and 2027 2nd round pick

Wow, GS should have traded the pick. I might like the 6'4 260 pound guy more. I guess it boils down to if you believe the combine performance was injury and not his true athleticism. Because his physical numbers were AWFUL

Sacramento Kings save Jaden Hardy from Green Room exile. Probably not the best place to develop him, but maybe for once things will actually break right for the Kings, and he develops into the player people thought he could be

Now I'm confused.

That looks like a series of good moves, ending in a likely good result. But it's the Knicks, who are shitheads. Does not compute.
They'll use another 1st to dump a salary then throw $26M a year at Jalen Brunson and be underwater on the deal in 2 years when they;ll use a 2nd of these picks to get off Brunson

around the way
Kinda hoping to see Brad pull a Belichick and trade 53 for a 2025 lottery protected first and a case of Biofreeze, just to see folks swoop into this thread and complain.

what's the word on Liddell?

Sullinger vibes
Liddell was getting a lot of mock draft love in the late teens, early 20s.

Just seems like a real high character workman like player. Seems like a great depth piece for NO.

That’s a pretty good overall series of moves. The Washington and Detroit picks both are likely to wind up somewhere in the teens when they convey.
I haven’t seen the actual protections on the picks but according to some Twitter accounts the picks are heavily protected for the next 3 years?

Denver pick likely conveys next year as a 20 something pick
Detroit pick likely conveys in 2025 as a pick around 20
Washington pick could be mid teens, or 10 or worse in 2026. Honestly I'm pretty sour o. Washington , this pick might turn into #2s in 26 and 27

I just watched a 2 minute twitter clip of Ziga Samar and I will be devastated if the C's don't draft him.
