I guess it's too hard for Jack Curry to have voted for Ortiz because he was too busy "assessing" Bonds and Clemens. What a bunch of contrived BS. Who do these voters think they are?

"Besides Bonds and Clemens, I also voted for Scott Rolen, Todd Helton, Andruw Jones, Jeff Kent, Billy Wagner and Curt Schilling. Regarding the combustible Schilling and his offensive words, I continued to treat his candidacy with more respect than he has treated it. There are other players on the ballot who have been linked to performance enhancers like Gary Sheffield and David Ortiz and players who have been suspended over PEDs like Alex Rodriguez and Manny Ramirez, but I didn’t vote for any of them this time. Now that I have voted for the two players who became the poster boys for the Steroid Era, I will reassess those other candidates next year. This year was about grappling with the dilemma of Bonds and Clemens."

Personally, I think it's pretty cool that Jack Curry has admitted that he's not intellectually capable of simultaneously grappling with more than two questions, especially during a time where baseball is entirely shut down.

Yep. He just said on MLB Network he didn’t vote for Papi because he didn’t have enough information or numbers about the failed test. Yet he voted for Bonds, Clemens, Sheffield and Sosa. He’s an idiot.
He also thinks Tom Brady is the "luckiest QB of all time." Were he on this board, he would fail the Kitchkinet test.

Yeah I never heard of the guy but a quick google showed that he wrote a column for Zombie Deadspin calling Brady the "LOAT" and now I wish I still had never heard of him.

No one will embarrass themselves more today than Rob Parker did on MLB Network tonight

Ken Rosenthal is hosting a live Hall of Fame show on Youtube since he's no longer part of the official show. He just had Dustin Pedroia on. Pedey with a classic line about Ortiz: "It was fun to play in the World Series with him because I got to play first and second." His segment starts at about the 17 minute mark.
Thanks for that. God, I miss that guy.

Didn’t even know he was a voter. How did he even get that? Was he a BBW in a previous life?

Those private voters are all the super sticklers, huh? Clemens/Bonds dropped way down.

They'll get in on veterans eventually
